Dialight Launches Range of TIIS-certified LED Hazardous Area Lighting for Japan
Farmingdale, NJ (June 27th, 2013). Dialight (LSE: DIA.L) and its subsidiary Dialight Japan K.K. today announced that its hazardous area LED lighting range has achieved full TIIS certification. The new products, specially designed for the Japanese market, include LED High Bay fixtures and Area Lights to replace traditional High Intensity Discharge (HID) light fixtures such as mercury vapour and high pressure sodium. Dialight has over 40 years experience in LED technology, with particular expertise in lighting fixtures designed for use in hazardous industrial environments such as oil, gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, mining, food production, power generation, wastewater and sewage treatment facilities. The new products will allow Japanese companies to benefit from dramatic reductions in power consumption, CO2 emissions and maintenance costs, while creating a brighter, safer and more comfortable working environment, in even the harshest conditions. Dialight’s LED lighting products are internationally certified and already used in hundreds of locations around the world. Dialight’s customers include most of the world’s major Oil & Gas companies, along with many global manufacturing and processing corporations. In Japan, Dialight products are used in a wide variety of applications, including packaging manufacture, power generation, heavy industry, petrochemical, warehousing and chilled food distribution. A key feature of all Dialight products is high-quality design and construction, as the cost reduction benefits of LED lighting can only be achieved through long-term product reliability. Because they are designed for industrial use, the service life of Dialight products is typically far longer than cheaper LED alternatives. Dialight LED lighting fixtures require minimal maintenance and carry a five-year parts and performance guarantee, which also includes the power supply.
