REG-Dialight PLC Trading Statement
Date/Range: 9-JAN-2007
Short Abstract: REG-Dialight PLC Trading Statement
DIALIGHT PLC
Trading Update
______________
Dialight plc, the UK based leader in applied LED technology, is today giving a
trading update ahead of its results for the year ended 31 December 2006.
Year on year both the Components and Signals/Illumination segments of the
business will show sales growth. We have experienced good order growth in
European Traffic and in Lighting. However, we saw deferrals in a number of US
Traffic contracts in December together with some slowing in orders in
Components. As a result sales for the year will be approximately £1 million
below earlier management expectations. We expect to see the deferred Traffic
orders coming through early in 2007 and will continue to monitor closely order
trends in Components.
The full results for the year ended 31 December 2006 will be announced on 5
March 2007.
