The Dialight Foundation, formed in June 2020, is a nonprofit arm of Dialight, the global leader in hazardous and industrial LED lighting innovation.
“Because of COVID-19, the needs are much greater this year in many of the communities where we do business, and we could not stand by without lending a hand to the vulnerable and those most in need of our support,” said Fariyal Khanbabi, Dialight Group Chief Executive and Chairman of the Dialight Foundation.
The Dialight Foundation Board is comprised of employees from around the globe. This diverse group was carefully selected to bring forth unique perspectives based on a variety of job functions, cultural backgrounds and charitable expertise. This group serves as the representatives for each of the locations where we conduct business and those surrounding communities.

Our Projects
Partnership with Women’s Earth Alliance
The Dialight Foundation is proud to be partnering with WEA on their COVID-19 Relief, Recovery and Resilience Initiative in Tijuana, Mexico. With the third highest global death toll in the world due to COVID-19, Mexico’s situation is extremely challenging. In Tijuana, Mexico, the situation is dire, as migrant issues compound with the pandemic. It is urgent that we reach the most vulnerable with emergency relief as well as provide long-term food, water, and health solutions through training and resourcing networks of women-led groups.
The Women’s Earth Alliance is a 15-year global initiative that trains, resources and catalyzes grassroots women’s networks to protect our environment and build healthy, safe, and just communities now and into the future.
Casa Hogar El Reino de los Ninos
The Dialight Foundation’s first charitable project in 2020 was partnering with a local orphanage 10 miles south of our manufacturing facilities in Ensenada, Mexico. The orphanage, Casa Hogar El Reino de los Niños, is currently home to 36 children, ranging in age from 3-23 years old. For our first project, the Dialight Foundation donated new single beds and sofas for the orphanage as the furniture in the facility was very worn and in need of being replaced. The new furniture was delivered in October 2020 with an accompanying ice cream party for the kids! In December 2020, a Christmas celebration was provided to the orphanage’s children and staff including a Christmas meal and gifts for the children.
